Rinus Dormehl graduated from the Rand Afrikaans University with a Masters Degree in Commerce. After a stint in the corporate world he returned to his first love photography. He is currently the owner of a photographic studio.


His photographic style is creative and based on the individual. Every bride, family or person is unique in their own way. As a lover of the arts, his photography potray this passion.

Some of his recent accomplishments include:

- Bridal photography for "The Wedding Guide", "African Bride" and Vrouekeur.

- Photographer of the winning portfolio of hairdresser of the year: Henry Wakefield.

- Fashion shoots for designer Simon Rademan.

- His fine art photography has been exhibited at the New Signatures Exhibition at the Pretoria Art Museum.

He is also a Member of the P.P.S.A
